About Drew Ross

I’m a personal trainer here at BeneFit Studio working with our clients and helping them live stronger, healthier lives. Fitness and sports have always come naturally to me. I have played just about every sport you can imagine and loved almost every one of them.

I grew up in the gymnastics gym as a kid.  But I but also dabbled in some other sports: Football, track, volleyball, baseball, and basketball. But my world was rocked when I suffered a serious back injury and needed surgery at the age of 15.

After that, I was helping coach gymnastics and really missing it.  That’s when a fellow coach came up to me and said, “Why don’t you try diving?” I told her that I had only been on a diving board a few times and then only for recreation. Never in my life did I think I could compete at diving!  But with her encouragement, I gave it a try.  After three months of summer-club diving, I joined the University of Cincinnati Diving Team.  I was on the team for four years and competed at the Big East Championships.

And now I’m a personal trainer at BeneFit Studio and I love it!

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy running, cross training (boxing, spinning, boot camp), and hanging out with friends. I’m a foodie at heart with a major sweet tooth. I have the cutest dog on this planet (sorry Emily, my Auggie takes the cake). And I love to make people sweat and feel beautiful in their own skin.
